PAULO is a popular songwriter, satirist, and humorous entertainer from Calgary. As Paul Finkleman and using the stage name ‘PAULO’, he’s been an active member of the Alberta Culture Touring Program for many years, and has earned the reputation of being an accomplished writer and performer, with a special talent for relating to children of all ages. He has performed several thousand concerts and workshops in schools and at festivals throughout Western Canada over the past 25 years.
PAULO has written over 2,000 songs, six musicals, three books and recorded 11 song albums on CD! In addition to starring in his own award-winning Cable Children’s Television Series, “The Wizard of Od!” he has performed hundreds of concerts, at venues ranging from the Monterey and Edmonton Folk Festivals to the Athletes Village at the Winter Olympics.
PAULO resides in Calgary with his wife Deb, and they have two wonderful daughters.

2009 Composes and records the CD “KEEPERS OF A TREASURE”, 16 original songs about growing up Jewish in Canada
2007 Completes recording the environmental CD “GUARDIANS OF THE PLANET”
2006 – 2009 Full -time Music Teacher and Artist-in Residence at The Third Academy, for children with special learning needs.
